  25. Looks like Newshound is emerging as a clear winner at this stage.  I 
  26. have to say it seems extrememly stable.

  28. I downloaded Messenger 1.0 last night and spent several hours playing 
  29. with it.  Whilst it has a few problems still - it will be several 
  30. weeks yet (at the very least) before any kind of Acornet release that 
  31. may or maynot include it - so there is perhaps time for the problems 
  32. to be ironed out.  I really would prefer to only include versions of 
  33. things that we know to be reasonably stable - even if that means 
  34. dropping down to a slightly previous version. (Obviously with 
  35. Messenger thats not possible).

  37. I have to say that my inital reactions were 'WOW'.  Its 
  38. real nice - with loads of extra features.  If you haven't checked it 
  39. out - please do so.

  41. I shall download the latest ttfn in the next day or so and do the 
  42. same with that.

  44. I think this may have to come to a vote.  I personally don't think 
  45. that both ttfn and messenger should be included.  However I intend to 
  46. try and make the frontend aware of possible alternatives so that they 
  47. can be added in fairly easily somehow.
